What's in RTR?
Rtr is an abbreviation for the Municipality of Remedios Trinidad Romualdez. According to a research, this municipality was ranked as the 5th class municipality through the whole province of Agusan Del Norte. It is composed of 8 barangays and have its relaxing tourist spots.
Tourist Attractions of RTR
As one of the blessed place, this municipality has jaw-dropping sceneries that can waken the veins of every tourist. Some of these are the following:
1. The Tagnote Falls
The falls that was said to be a virgin coast was located at Sitio Tagnote, Baranggay San Antonio, Remedios Trinidad Romualdez, Agusan Del Norte. It was 8.7 km away from RTR town anh has an entrance fee of thirty(30) pesos. The falling water has a length of 20 feet, a depth of 3 meters with 10 square meter wide for the basin and has two swimming pools. With its clear and crystallizing cold water, the falls was sorrounded with boulders of rocks that will serve as tables and chairs for adventurers.
2. The Humilog Cave
The breath-catching cave is located at Barangay Humilog, Remedios Trinidad Romualdez, Agusan Del Norte. It is 2 kilometer away from the proper town. The cave has tight vertical entrance with an altar look like rocs that can be found inside the cave. The cave is 4.5 meters wide and 300 meters long.
3. The Mt. Hilong-Hilong
As an exercise, a mountain in Remedios Trinidad Romualdez, Agusan Del Norte is a good choice for trekking. The mountain is considered to be the highest mountain peak in the whole province of Agusan Del Norte. It has a length of 2,102 meters above the sea-level. The trek to the mountain's peak is very difficult but it would be easier to trek through the Malvar Trail situated in Barangay San Antonio, RTR, Agusan Del Norte. It will cover three days to be at the highest peak and only 1 day to go back to the town proper.
